I went to Rome with Matt, Tyra, and Julia. We spent 2 days and 1 night in Rome which was the perfect amount of time. We visited a lot of touristy places in the 2 days that we had there but decided not to go into any museums because we already paid for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.

List of places we visited...

  • Colosseum

  • Roman Forum

  • Palatine Hill

  • Pantheon

  • Piazza Navona

  • Spanish Steps

  • Trevi Fountain

  • Vatican City

  • Saint Peter's Basilica

The first day we got into Rome (Saturday) we went to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. All 3 were amazing and ended up spending around 3 hours there. We ate lunch near the Colosseum and had the best pasta and pizza. The pizza in Rome is 10 times better than Florence because their crust is holdable but not thick. Florence's pizza is always soggy and not easy to eat. After, we went to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Spanish Steps.

On Sunday, we woke up early and headed to the Trevi Fountain. We spent about an hour taking photos then headed to the restaurant that invented fettuccine Alfredo! This was the BEST fettuccine Alfredo that I have ever had. It tasted like mac and cheese! We then walked across the river and entered into the Vatican City where Saint Peter's Basilica is.
